Choosing one
Floor standing posts have to be stored somewhere and in a corridor that somewhere is usually the corridor. Wall mounting removes the problem: the unit stays put, the belt pulls across in a second and retracts flush when the route reopens. Mounting is the main decision. Fixed screw mounting for permanent positions, magnetic for racking and leased buildings, clamp for columns, removable where one unit serves several locations and recessed where the corridor is too narrow for anything to project. Belt length decides the rest.
