What Vaughan hires
The rope goes around the object, not around the people.
A reveal turns the usual brief inside out. The thing being protected stands still in the middle of the floor — a car under a cover, a new appliance on a plinth, a prototype nobody may touch — and the crowd is invited to walk all the way round it. So the line is a ring rather than a queue, it has to look right from every side and in every photograph, and it has to open cleanly at one point for the moment the cover comes off and the press are let in closer.
A ring with a clean gate
Rope posts set in a closed shape around the display, with one run that unclips so the photographers can be let through.
Distance set from the paintwork
Far enough out that an outstretched hand stops short of the bodywork, close enough that the object still fills a phone screen.
Finish chosen against the floor
Chrome posts on polished showroom tile, black posts with gold finials on dark carpet, and a rope colour picked to flatter the object rather than the logo.
Where we deliver
Along Highway 7 and the 400, and north into King.
Showrooms and launch venues here sit on wide commercial roads, with big doors and polished floors that mark easily, so the drop is planned around the surface as much as the address. Each of delivery, setup and collection is priced separately, and a reveal is usually laid out by us, because the ring has to be centred on an object that is often driven into place only once the floor is clear.

The floors a Vaughan launch is usually staged on:
- the dealership showrooms along the auto corridors
- the event halls and banquet venues off Highway 7
- the new towers and lobbies around the subway terminus
- the shopping centre concourses beside the 400
- the trade and convention floors in Concord and Woodbridge
- the galleries and heritage grounds in Kleinburg
Tell us what is being revealed, how big it is and which door it enters by, and the ring is sized to fit it.
Worth asking
What a launch in Vaughan tends to ask.
- How is stanchion rental priced for a Vaughan launch?
- A reveal ring is almost always the gold post and velvet rope set, which hires at $19 for one day, $29 for three and $39 for the week; the black post and retractable belt set carries the same three rates. Bringing it to the showroom, standing the ring around the object and collecting it at the end are each quoted as a line of their own.
- How far from the vehicle should the rope stand?
- Far enough that nobody can lean over and touch the paint, close enough that the car still reads as the centre of the room. Send the dimensions of what is on display and a plan of the floor, and the ring is drawn to both rather than to a stock distance.
- Can the ring open for the press?
- Yes. One run of rope unclips from its post and hooks back once the photographs are taken, so the shape is only broken for as long as it has to be. Mark on the brief which side the cameras will stand, and the opening goes there.
- Will the posts mark a polished showroom floor?
- A polished tile or epoxy floor shows every scuff, so say what the surface is when you send the brief. Where a floor cannot take any marking, the ring can stand on a carpet runner laid as part of the display, which also frames the object in photographs.
- Can the rope or the signage carry the model name?
- Rope sleeves, post wraps and sign panels can all be printed for the launch. A common approach at a reveal is to keep the ring plain and put the name on a single sign holder at the gate, so nothing on the floor competes with the thing being shown.
