What it is for
At a hundred feet the calculation stops being about the barrier and starts being about labour. Closing that distance with stanchions means carrying out and setting up roughly ten posts, then collecting them again. One wall unit does it in the time it takes to walk the belt across. Fewer units also means fewer things to maintain and fewer parts to lose. It is aimed squarely at large format sites where the same area gets closed and reopened on a schedule and nobody has time to build a queue line to do it.
