Rubber Base Ring
The ring around the bottom of the base. Replaces the floor protector that stops posts scratching floors and sliding when a crowd leans on the belt.

What it is for
The rubber ring does two jobs and both matter more than its price suggests. It keeps the base off the floor finish, which in a marble lobby or a gallery is the difference between a scuff and a repair bill, and it adds grip so the post is harder to shove out of position. Rings perish and tear, particularly on sets that get dragged instead of carried. Replacing them across an old set is the cheapest thing you can do to make the posts both look better and behave better.
