What it is for
Dye sublimation infuses the ink into the belt fibres which means the print does not wear off with handling and can carry anything including photographs and scannable QR codes. Silkscreen lays a gloss ink on the surface, works in a single colour and costs considerably less, which makes it the right choice for a plain logo or a line of text. Choose by artwork rather than budget alone; a multicoloured logo silkscreened in one colour usually looks worse than no printing at all. A 3 inch belt gives roughly 50 percent more print area.
