What it is for
A run of forty barricades is three hundred feet of frontage at exactly the height cameras point. Bare galvanized steel does nothing with it. Covers turn the same line into printed surface, which is why they get written into sponsorship agreements. They also solve a plainer problem: a covered barricade looks finished while a bare one looks like site equipment, so events that want to read as polished use plain black or white covers with no printing at all. Grommets along the bottom edge stop them lifting in wind.
