Booked as a run, it is one set of equipment that moves between the dates, which changes the arithmetic more than any discount would. It also means the line looks identical in every room, because it literally is the same line.

Orders go to the rooms and sites the region uses:
- the convention centre in the middle of downtown
- the boardwalk and the cruise pavilion on the waterfront
- the arena and the halls near the common
- the university campuses across the peninsula
- the hotels along the harbour
- the airport terminal out at Enfield
If the booking has dates in more than one province, send them all at once. Split across separate enquiries they get quoted as separate jobs.
Planning a run of dates
The gaps are the part people forget.
A multi-city booking is mostly a calendar problem. The equipment is the easy part; what needs thinking about is the day between the strike in one city and the build in the next, whether the second venue can take a delivery before its own build window opens, and what happens to a set that comes off a wet site on a Sunday and goes up indoors on a Tuesday. None of that is difficult, and all of it is expensive to discover late.
Travel days are days
A set on the road is a set not available. Building the gap into the booking is what stops a date being double-counted.
Ask the second venue early
Whether it will accept a delivery ahead of its own build is the single question that decides the schedule.
Dry before it is packed
Equipment struck wet and packed straight into a truck for two days is the one way to damage a set on a tour.

What an Atlantic booking asks.
- Can one booking cover dates in more than one province?
- That is the arrangement worth asking about, and it is why the dates should come to us together rather than one at a time. Whether we can serve a particular run depends on the size and the calendar, so treat this as a question to put to us rather than a promise made on a page.
- Does the same equipment travel the whole route?
- Where the schedule allows it, yes, and that is what makes the line look identical in every room. It also means the gaps between dates matter: a set that is in transit is not a set that is available, so travel days are part of the booking rather than free time between them.
- What happens if a later date moves?
- It is changed against the whole booking rather than renegotiated from scratch, which is most of the practical value of booking a run as one thing. Tell us as early as you can, because a date that moves usually moves the transit days either side of it too.
- Our first site is outdoors and the second is a ballroom. Is that a problem?
- Only if the set comes off the first one wet and goes straight into a truck. Equipment struck damp and packed for a two day journey is the one reliable way to damage it on a run, so build a little drying time into the strike rather than into the next build.
- Do you deliver outside Nova Scotia?
- Through the region, depending on the booking. It is not a blanket yes and we would rather be straight about that: send the dates and the destinations and we will tell you which of them we can serve as one job and which are better handled another way.
