Made for rope posts rather than belt posts. A threaded stud replaces the finial so the frame screws directly into the top of the stanchion.

What it is for
Belt stanchion frames slide over a 2.5 inch post and a rope post is neither that shape nor that diameter, so they do not interchange. This version screws into the tapped hole under the finial instead. Worth checking before ordering: flat and crown tops can be tapped and a ball top cannot, so if your posts are ball topped the sign has to go on a floor stand instead. Studs are available to fit other manufacturers' rope posts as well as ours.
